Notice to Members: Please read these Terms of Service carefully before creating an account or activating a plan. By accessing, registering, or using the TenaPlate platform, you agree to all terms outlined below.
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to TenaPlate, a specialized digital nutrition and wellness application (available on web and mobile platforms) owned and operated by Altin Gym in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. By accessing, registering, or using the TenaPlate platform, you ("User" or "Member") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must refrain from using the application.
2. Description of Service
TenaPlate is a digital nutrition platform designed to help registered members achieve their health and fitness goals, including weight loss, weight gain, and muscle building through customized nutritional guidance, AI-driven recommendations utilizing traditional and local Ethiopian foods, calendar scheduling, and daily tracking metrics.
3. User Accounts, Registration, and Security
- Account Creation: Users must register or log in using their phone number and SMS OTP auto-fetch, whichever is available and functional on the platform website.
- Profile Management: Users are required to provide accurate, up-to-date personal information during onboarding and have full responsibility for editing and maintaining their profile details on the frontend.
- Account Security: Users are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.
4. User Responsibilities and Operational Rules
- Strict Adherence to Nutritional Plans: Once a personalized nutrition plan is generated based on the user's questionnaire responses (targeting muscle building, weight gain, or weight loss), the user is strictly responsible for following each day's nutritional plan properly and strictly in accordance with the application's daily guidance.
- Time Management and Self-Discipline: Users acknowledge and agree that they bear full and sole responsibility for managing their own time systems, daily schedules, food preparation, and routine adherence. TenaPlate provides the digital roadmap and advice, but execution rests entirely with the user.
- Health and Medical Disclaimer: TenaPlate is a nutritional guidance tool and does not provide formal medical advice. Users with pre-existing health conditions should consult a qualified physician before altering their diet or starting any new fitness-related regimen.
5. Payment, Subscription, and Strict No-Refund Policy
- Payment Integration: Access to the core program and personalized plans is strictly locked until membership payment is completed via integrated local payment methods, specifically Chapa (Telebirr, CBEBirr, Cards, Awash).
- The Plan as the Core Service: Users explicitly acknowledge that the generation and provisioning of a personalized nutritional plan inside the TenaPlate account constitutes the CORE AND MAIN SERVICE delivered by the platform.
- Strict No-Refund Policy: Once a nutritional plan is created, generated, and activated inside a user's TenaPlate account, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED under any circumstances. Because digital plans and customized intellectual property are rendered immediately upon creation, all membership and plan fees are final.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All software, source code, UI/UX designs, AI algorithmic logic, nutritional frameworks, text, graphics, and content developed for TenaPlate are the exclusive and sole property of Altin Gym. Unauthorized copying, distribution, reverse engineering, or commercial exploitation of any platform asset is strictly prohibited.
7. Data Protection and Privacy
TenaPlate handles all user health and profile data with strict confidentiality, ensuring data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Platform operations comply with the data protection principles outlined under the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, including the Computer Crime Proclamation (Proclamation No. 958/2016).
8. Limitation of Liability
Altin Gym and its development and management teams shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from a user's failure to properly follow their nutrition plan, manage their personal schedule, or achieve their targeted fitness goals.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, including the Civil and Commercial Codes. Any disputes arising from the use of TenaPlate shall first be resolved through amicable negotiation between the parties in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
10. Modifications to Terms
Altin Gym reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of TenaPlate following any changes constitutes formal acceptance of the revised terms.
